Alfredo Malchiodi Albedi was born and raised in Rome, Italy.

His pre-university schooling was at Manieri-Copernico Art Lyceum, a private art high school. Later, he attended the Fine Art Academy of Rome, graduating with his degree in Art/Art History & Architecture at the higher level of an associate professor in1967.

His artistic career is broad, including sound specialist for Italian television & master woodcarving. Computer graphic design is a favorite in his repetoire of talents. He recommends Corel Draw to any serious graphic art students.

The Malchiodi line is distinguished. Its' coat of arms, derived from the family motto of "Steal Virtue from the Fire", is seen when clicking on the sample button, left.
